The room was dirty and yet strangly empty. The overhead lighting seemed to be dimmed near the door as if something had damaged the lights. For a breaf momment it sounds like a metalic echo comes from the open ventalation behind you but the sound is quickly scilenced.
You feel small vibrations in the floor as the lights in the room get brighter, suddenly every long dead electronical device in the room seems to come alive again, even the loudspeakers which plays a haunting melody sounding closer to whales mating songs than anything human.

She jumped backwards. Her eyes were wide with shock, and it took her a second to realize that she should probably stop all the noise.
Stella leaped toward the electrical device trying to figure out how to stop the noise.

The call over the loud speakers stopped slowly as if winding down and loosing steam before everything goes quiet again. The room sat dead except for the low hum of the devices around you (a few computers, PDA's, ect)
Your feel the life support kick back into full swing as a soothing rush of cooled air fills the room. The wrappers in the open duct behind you clutter around before finaly sticking themselves to a surface as the papers on the floor begin to stur as well.

She relaxed enough to replace the grate on the vent. Looking around she felt disoriented, she didn't know where this room led to or where exactly she needed to go. She looked over at the desk, searching for a device that could show her a map.

The paper of the floor begins to float a little on the air and drift acrost the floor. Voices echo out in the hall.
"Powers back in this hall too....Lets keep backtracking and see if the sactuary has power." A deeper voice says as you here heavy footsteps in the hall.

She leaned back against the wall, watching the door. She didn't know whether or not to hide, these people sounded like the ones she had meet when she was saved from Lab 7.
Stella grimaced deciding not to draw more attention to herself than necessary.

The voices and the footsteps move slowly closer.
"Hold on sir....I can't find my monitor...I think I might have dropped it." A younger voice says.
"For gods sake, find your d**m monitor and we'll regroup at the sanctuary door..." A deeper voice says before it and most of the footprints. You hear a single set of footsteps approach the door to the room, and you hear the motors to the door begin to groan as they begin to open.

She walked over to the desk, sat on top of it and crossed her legs. Her tail rested across her lap, writhing lazily like a snake. Her hands were at her side, gripping the edges of the desk.
She was still watching the door open.

The door slid open soft and closed as a younger dark haired man stepped in in full armor and armed. It took him a minute or two to see you on the desk. After a small recoil he raises his weapon the seems to relax.
"It's you..." He says removing his helmet, it was the same young soldier from earlier. "They're looking for you....you gotta get out of here. After you felt the affected really started to press out defences and we had to seal off the hallway to the sanctuary. The people voted to have to brought back and given to the affected to make the attacks stop....."
He lowers he weapon and sets on the desk acrost from you.

For a moment she looked angry, but then she seemed to realize that that is where she needed to be. She didn't exactly have a plan yet but that would come.
"I can't leave." She said, leaping off of the desk. "So I guess I'll have to go to lab 7."

"Wait, lab 7? You've seen that place, it's hell, why would you want to go back?" He asks standing himself.
You hear his boot hit something on the floor, under a few sheets of paper sat a small rectangular device with a large screen on it. Seeming suprized he looks down and picks it up.
"At least let me go with you...most of the gaurd are out looking for you so you'll need some help...." He says smiling a little.

She made a face, partially suspicious and partially curious. "And you've seen that hell too, why would you want to come with me?" She asked.

"Because I seem to be only one in the sanctuary who hasn't lost his mind.....I don't exactly want to set in there with the rest of them and loose it..."He says.
"And you're gonna need a little more firepower to get into lab 7..."He says opening the door and looking out into the hall, and then to the small monitor. "And it looks like we're clear the captains squad must have gotten his men back to the sanctuary."

She peered out the door, and looked down the hallway. "I'm not sure if I can trust you." She said, looking at him.
"But I guess I have no choice. Lets go."

The young mans starts right down the hallways, he kept his gun raised and constantly looked down at the monitor. You begin to hear small movments in the walls around, they didn't sound heavy but you could still hear them echoing slightly.
