She stepped up to the doorway, gripping the doorframe as she peered inside. "What is it that lies beyond the doorway?" She asked.

"The memories of the ship."The longfaced man says as a crowd starts to gather. You notice the brown haired stone face young man from earlier walking up, helmet and battle rifle in hand. He looked puzzle as stops a good five feet behind you.
"We're not sure as to all that is beyond this point but we do know that the ships memory banks are close by." He says waving his head into the hall. The hall spilt off to your left while the other section kept going straight ending in a corner.
"Here I want to give you a word of advace the kept me alive running around this ship in my youth." He says leaning closer and whispering into her ear. "Farro." He says and you see a small whisp of white smoke trace it's way along the floor heading straight down the hall before dissapearing after some distance from you.

She took a deep breath and followed the path the white smoke had traced into the darkness. "Thanks." She called back to them.

The door shuts behind you making it slightly darker. The hallway leads you to a locked door, the underside of the keypad sparking catching your attention and giving you warning. You hear something large move inside, something large and angery sounding that is.

She grimaced, squared her shoulders and muttered under her breath with a sigh: "Why the f*ck not." She grabbed ahold of the sparking keypad, unlocked the door and watched it ominously slide open.
Silently as she could, Stella stalked into the room.

The keypad begins to glow brighter, humming menicingly as suddenly it explodes in a wave of sparks a bolt of electricity arching from the now exposed wireing and leaping to your arm and then arching again to the wall burning the skin on your right arm slightly and leaving it numb and its motor functions slightly impaired. The door had been set with a trap.
The room twinkled with small lights from large black towers stretching from ceiling to floor arranged in short rows with walkways through them. You hear the rolling of wheels along the floor, and the heavy clank of a metal frame which had been muffled by the door creating the sound you'd heard earlier. A few computer desks sat between you and the rows of black towers, the door behind you clicks a few times before the current from the keypad dies and the door sticks open.

She hissed as the pain in her arm grew so did her frustration. Her eyes began to literally glow in the dark and the darkness of the room became a blurry grey haze. Calm down. Her pupils dilated until all the color in her eyes was just a razor-thin ring around a sea of black. Predatory senses made her spine tingle.

The whurring of wheels conintues stopping every now and again. A pen falls from the edge of the desk closest to your right, it seems the chair of this desk had gone missing and left nothing but the boxlike space beneath the desk. The hallway seems to echo with a odd noise sounding something like a gurgle.
You here a computerized voice echo just around the corner. 'Area Clear....continue searching.' The whuring of wheels starts up again as to see the very tip of a very large gun peek around the corner of one of the black towers.

She lunged forward, pulling the shotgun off her back and taking aim. She swung around the towers to aim at what she expected to be a robot. Shots were fired, damaging the large gun.

The mechanical beings motions halt for a momment them it lurches forward. Two series of three wheels connected at the base, a triangular upper body, a slightly humanoid head with a solid black bar for a eye, a small red dot drifting through the black bar before finaly centering on you. It raises its two large gun arms and you here the click and whuring of machinery.
"Target accquired, engaging" its computerized voice echos as you see lights begin to glow at deep inside of its barrels.

She snarled at the robot, firing at the large black bar on its face and then at the weapons it had for arms before lunging out of the way. As soon as she fired she darted behind the next tower.

The machine recoils as the bacl bar cracks from the attack. As it tries to repossition itself for a counter attack it empties mutiple rounds into the four black towers in front of it. Sending sparks, small fragments of computer chips, and metal to the floor at your feet.
You see a light appeare behind you towards one end of the room. A computer screen, the images on the screen had begun to blur.
"Hostile target lost, searching..." Its voice echos as your hear the wheels start up again.

With the gap in activity she made a run for the screen. Running right past the robot she fired again, and just like before she darted behind another tower, making her way closer to the other end of the room.
That must be the database. She thought.

The wheels stop again, and you hear the motors of the machine twisting its torso around searching. The walls being metalic reflected the light from the screen around the room. The machine begins to move again. "Resuming search...."
The screen flicks as the damages black towers sparks.

Realization struck her like a ton of bricks. The data base wasn't just that computer. These large black towers, they were part of it. The whole room was stacked with information.
Stella realized that her attacks weren't working. That robot would keep fighting as long as she kept attacking, as long as it saw her. She slunk forward, keeping to the shadows. There had to be another way to destroy that thing.
